What's New in Avonni Components for Flows

Avonni Data Table Enhnancements

Speed up your data editing with the new "Display as Input" feature in the Avonni Data Table. This attribute transforms your table cells into editable input boxes, eliminating the need for extra clicks and streamlining the data entry.

How It Works:

  1. Navigate to the Data Mappings section within the Data Table configuration.

  2. Toggle "Display as Input": Click on the desired column and toggle the "Display as Input" setting to ON.

  3. The cells of your selected column will instantly transform into input boxes, allowing you to modify values directly within the table.

Benefits:

  • Accelerate Editing: You can make changes to your data quickly and efficiently without opening separate edit forms.

  • Streamline Data Entry: Reduce the clicks and steps required to update your data.

Support Click-to-Dial attribute

If you have Open CTI or Voice activated in your Salesforce org, phone numbers in your table will automatically become clickable links for quick and easy calling.

We've added a new feature to the Avonni Data Table that makes it easier to access related records. The group header becomes a clickable link when you group your data by a lookup field (a field that references another object, like an Account or Contact).

New Avonni Document Scanner component

Streamline your data entry process with the new Avonni Document Scanner, available exclusively within the Salesforce mobile app. This component lets you easily capture text from various sources and save it directly to your Salesforce records.

Example:

Picture yourself as a healthcare professional attending a conference. You receive a flyer with essential details about a new medical device. Using the Avonni Document Scanner:

  1. Capture the Flyer: Use your device's camera within the Salesforce mobile app to photograph the flyer and extract its text, including product name, features, benefits, and contact information.

  2. Extract the Text: The scanner automatically extracts the text from the flyer, including product name, features, benefits, and contact information.

  3. Save to Salesforce: Paste the extracted text into a new note or custom object record within Salesforce, creating a detailed reference for later review.

New Avonni NFC Tag Scanner component

Empower your Salesforce mobile app users with the Avonni NFC Tag Scanner component. Seamlessly integrate Near Field Communication (NFC) technology, enabling users to interact with NFC tags directly within the Salesforce Mobile app.

Example:

Imagine a retail store using Salesforce to manage inventory and customer interactions. With the Avonni NFC Tag Scanner integrated into their Salesforce mobile app, they can enhance their customer experience and streamline operations:

  1. Product Information: NFC tags are attached to products on shelves.

  2. Customer Engagement: Customers tap their phones to the tags to instantly access detailed product information, reviews, or special offers.

Avonni Record Detail - Support Click To Dial

If you have Open CTI or Voice activated in your Salesforce org, the record detail component phone numbers will automatically become clickable links for quick and easy calling.

Avonni Calendar - Change the event name font color

Make your Avonni Calendar events pop with the new ability to customize the font color of event names. You can create a visually engaging calendar that aligns with your brand or personal preferences.

Avonni Metric - New attribute valueQueryFiltersExpression

We've introduced a new attribute called valueQueryFiltersExpression to the Avonni Metric. This feature enables you to apply additional filters to your aggregate queries, ensuring that the calculated value accurately reflects the specific data you want to summarize.

Avonni Map - New “Pin” marker

Personalize your map markers in Avonni Map for Screen Flow with our new "Pin" marker type. Say goodbye to complex customizations and enjoy effortless styling!

Why Choose the "Pin" Marker Type?

  • Simplicity at Its Finest: Say goodbye to complicated SVG paths and custom styling.

  • Instantaneous Adjustments: Change your pins' fill color and stroke (outline) on the fly.

  • Professional Polish: Elevate your maps with a sleek and refined look.

Avonni Button - Styling Flexibility

We've added more styling flexibility to the Avonni Button component, giving you greater control over how text is aligned within stretched buttons.

What's New:

  • Horizontal Alignment Options: Now, when you choose the "stretch" variant for your button (which makes the button expand to fill its container width), you can easily adjust the horizontal alignment of the text. Choose from a variety of options, including:

    • flex-start: Align text to the left

    • flex-end: Align text to the right

    • center: Center the text (default)

    • space-around: Distribute space evenly around items

    • space-between: Distribute space evenly between items.

Query option for the value attribute

We've made connecting your data more accessible to the following Avonni components below! Now, you can populate those components with values directly from a query:

  • Formatted Value: Display numbers, dates, or text in a customized format.

  • Progress Bar/Circle: Show the progress of a task or goal.

  • Rating: Visually represent ratings or scores

Example:

Let's say you have a query that calculates the percentage of tasks completed. You can link this query to a Progress Bar component, which automatically displays the progress based on the query results.

Benefits:

  • Dynamic updates: Your components will always show the latest data from your queries.

  • Simplified configuration: No need to manually update component values when your data changes.

Download interaction for data components

With the new "Download" interaction, you can now provide users with quick and easy access to content documents (files) linked to records displayed in your Avonni Data Components.

Example Use Case:

Let's say you have a case object with a linked content document (e.g., incident reports, photos, customer communications). You can use the Avonni Data Table to display a list of cases and include a column for file downloads. Users can then download the relevant directly from the table without opening each case record individually.

Date Literal support for Query Data Source

When working with a Query Data Source, you can use handy date literals to filter by specific timeframes. No more complex date calculations – choose the period you want to focus on.

Example:

Let's say you want to display a list of events happening next week in your community. Select the Query Data Source for your event list component, filter by the "Event Date" field, and choose the "next week" date literal. Your component will instantly update to show only the events scheduled for the upcoming week.
